Trading Cards
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a fun local twist! Created by Clarkston High School students as part of an Academic Service Learning project, these special America 250 trading cards highlight people and stories connected to our nation and community history. Keep an eye out for the cards to begin appearing on the light poles downtown as part of the community-wide America 250 celebration.
Optimist Club Flags for Kids
Hosted by the Clarkston Area Optimist Club, the Flags for Kids program is a longtime community tradition that places American flags in front of local homes and businesses on six national holidays each year. The program helps bring the community together while supporting local Optimist Club programs and initiatives that benefit kids and families in the Clarkston area.

The Jeremiah Clark Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution sponsors and participates in a variety of meetings, commemorations, educational programs, and community observances throughout the year focused on patriotism, historical understanding, and civic remembrance.
