100 People Who Care Clarkston Area
What if 100 people came together just four times a year to make a meaningful impact in our community?
That's the idea behind 100 People Who Care Clarkston Area.
Inspired by the growing movement of giving circles across North America, our group will bring together local residents who want to support the nonprofits, programs, and people making a difference in the Clarkston area.
How It Works
- We meet quarterly.
- Members commit to making a donation at each meeting.
- Local nonprofits are nominated and invited to share their mission.
- Members vote.
- The nonprofit receiving the most votes receives the group's collective donation.
It's simple, transparent, and impactful. By pooling our individual donations, we can make a significant contribution to organizations serving Clarkston, Independence Township, Springfield Township, Waterford and surrounding communities.

This summer, the 100 Who Care Alliance is launching a book club and author speaker series!
Join giving circle leaders and members across 100 Who Care Alliance and read their first pick, The Big We by Hali Lee. We think this book beautifully captures the spirit of belonging, generosity, and collective action.
Whether you’re launching a new giving circle, leading an established one, or participating as a member, this book offers insights that strengthen our movement.

This book club is being hosted by the 100 Who Care Alliance, and we're looking forward to joining their first-ever online meeting.
Participation is completely optional. Any registration fees go directly to the organization hosting the event and do not benefit 100 People Who Care Clarkston Area.
