Hi, We're Katie & Anne
We're the founders of Connecting Clarkston. In 2023, while watching our daughters play soccer, we started talking about how many great things were happening throughout our community—and how difficult it could be to keep track of them all. Local businesses were hosting events. Nonprofits were looking for volunteers. Community groups were doing amazing work. But the information was scattered across dozens of websites and social media pages.
We thought there had to be an easier way. So we created Connecting Clarkston.
What started as an idea has grown into a community platform that helps residents discover local events, support businesses, connect with nonprofits, learn about community initiatives, and meet the people making a difference in the Clarkston area.
Today, Connecting Clarkston includes:

Community impact has always been at the heart of Connecting Clarkston.
That's why nonprofit organizations can participate at no cost through our Nonprofit Network. We provide free listings and opportunities to share events, volunteer needs, fundraising efforts, and community programs.
We believe nonprofits deserve a platform to tell their stories and connect with supporters without worrying about marketing costs.
